Cell phones and smart watches are not allowed in either the Odell Horton federal building in Memphis, or the Ed Jones Courthouse in Jackson. Exceptions are made for those answering a Jury Summons, those in a Jury, and approved visitors. Cell phones and smart watches are NOT allowed in court while it is in session.
